One of the things that I’ve learnt recently is that positioning is vital for your business.

What is positioning?

Basically, it’s describing what you do and for whom

EchoDek helps business owners and their teams reduce the time wasted on tedious administration.

We’re looking to meet with business owners. Business owners who have teams. Teams who waste a lot of time on tedious admin tasks.

I could say “we build software products”. Or “we build bespoke software for small businesses”. Or something like that.

But our positioning is much more precise.

The idea is two-fold. When you hear it, you think “you know what, Olivia was just telling me about the stupid amount of paperwork her team has to go through”. And then you think “so how do you do that?”.

If you get it right, your positioning opens you up to referrals and starts a conversation. So what’s yours?
